The GIA Group, currently operating in 11 European countries, is represented in the Czech Republic by the GIA Czech Republic s.r.o., the successor organization of the original GIA companies. The group has been represented in the Czech Republic since 1992 by the company ROHÉ ČR spol. s r.o., which was transformed to Dresser Czech Republic s.r.o. in 2009. In 2014, PH GIA s.r.o. became part of this company in the Czech Republic. The two companies were subsequently merged into GIA Czech Republic s.r.o. on 31 December 2014.
At present, the GiA Group and GiA CZ, a.s. offer complete technology and service of filling stations, to which new activities with the potential for further growth are continuously being added - monitoring of filling station activities, possibilities for their savings, supply of alternative energy sources for filling stations and industry; and together with the parent company in Austria - the supply of technological units for industry and the army.
GiA also represents major manufacturers of components for the chemical, petrochemical, food, construction, and aviation industries.
The company's service and assembly centres ensure not only the installation of new equipment, but also a warranty and post-warranty service of all supplied equipment and components, operator´s training, complete consulting services, reconstruction of gas stations, modifications of pipelines etc. Customer service is available 24 hours a day from its own control room. It ensures an efficient coordination of service technicians from individual centres, thanks to the latest computer and communication technology. Service interventions and other activities are provided in the whole territory of the Czech Republic. They are performed by service technicians who have been professionally trained directly by the manufacturers. This guarantees professional installation, trouble-free operation and return link for the progressive development and production of new equipment.
All activities of the company are carried out in accordance with: - the established system of the quality management according to ČSN EN ISO 9001: 2008; - safety management system and occupational health ČSN OHSAS 18001: 2007; - all certificates allowing performance of activities with insurance for potential risks up to CZK 50,000,000.
